They gave us a top-tier 4-ton, 20 SEER American Standard unit for what competitors were charging for 17 SEER models. Unlike other salespeople, their representative actually diagnosed our core issue: our system was air-hungry and needed an extra return vent, plus a better thermostat location. The install crew finished in one day, left the work area spotless, and was very respectful. During recent 100°F+ heatwaves, our home easily maintained 75°F (our old system couldn't get below 80°F), and our monthly power bill dropped by nearly $100. They cleaned our unit and it made all the difference. Now, after using them for several years, I’m still very pleased. Every summer there seems to be another problem at one of the rental properties. They installed our new AC system today, and from start to finish, the entire team was professional, knowledgeable, respectful, and did an outstanding job. What really separates Orlando from other companies is the way he takes care of his customers after the sale. Every single time we’ve called him with a question or an issue, he has made it a priority to be at our house that same day. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days. Orlando truly stands behind his work, keeps his word, and makes sure his customers are taken care of. His entire team represents the company extremely well, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. He has always been incredibly helpful, responsive, and transparent. In scheduling he responds quickly and is always early or on-time. When diagnosing the problem he fully explains and shows you what the issue is and is transparent about all pricing estimates. He takes the time to answer questions and make sure that you understand and feel comfortable with his work. Also, when he finished, he made sure that the area was completely cleaned. Bottom line: He is knowledgeable, trustworthy, kind, and affordable. I would recommend Honest Abe and Orlando to anyone that needs Ac/hearing services.Posted on Yelp
